lyrics
Broken bodies on the floor
They were silenced
We were deaf
Saw the carnage
Still forgave ourselves
Stifle conflict, starting wars
Tame and silent’s how they like you
Preservations what they value
We could change them
We could change ourselves
We could change them
We could change ourselves
Broken bodies
I can see them
Politicians, male comedians, men at work, some at home
Let the blade fall
It’s not enough
Times are tough
watch her kill him
What a chauvinist
What a pig
We should change them
We should change ourselves
We should change them
We should change ourselves
I know how it works....
You earn a couple bills
think you own the earth
No one really cares
So save it
Save it
play it like a joke
I know you really mean it
I know you do
I know how it works
pretend it never happened
Till the word got out
Your apology was vapid...
So stay away
Stay away
You say it’s just a joke
I know you really mean it
I know you do
are we all the same?
Can we be defeated?
You could stop tellin jokes
When I know you really mean it

This is pretty much a perfect noise rock record, worshiping at the Church of Jesus Lizard, but with its own flavor of punishment, more calculated and bludgeoning than Yow and co. The riffs are all killer, no filler. I'm sad that this is the last hurrah for this band, but at least it ended on this very high note. Buildings is dead, long live Buildings! fyeahmetal
